CHINO, San Bernardino County — October 25, 2026. The City of Chino has scheduled its annual Halloween Spooktacular for Saturday, October 31, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Ruben S. Ayala Park, 14225 Central Avenue. The city identifies Fields 11, 12 and 13 as the event location and describes candy, games, carnival rides and family activities.
How much do carnival wristbands cost?
According to the City of Chino’s official event page, a carnival wristband costs $10 in advance or $12.50 on October 31 at the event. Online presale is scheduled to end on October 30 at 11:59 p.m. The wristband is valid only during the October 31 event, may be collected at the designated pickup table, and must be worn for rides. The page does not describe the wristband as an admission ticket to every possible activity; residents should check which attractions require payment.
Ride restrictions matter for families
The city lists height and other restrictions for specific attractions. For example, the Ferris wheel does not permit single riders and requires a child to be at least 48 inches tall to ride without an adult; some other rides use different height or maximum-weight rules. Adults should review the event’s published restrictions before purchasing wristbands for younger children. Lines may close before 8 p.m. to allow rides to finish on time, and the city says lost or stolen wristbands cannot be replaced.
Community booths and questions
The city invites community groups to participate in trunk-or-treat, games, crafts or candy booths, with event-specific requirements. Its notice says booths may distribute candy, treats and information but may not charge visitors or sell goods. Food vendor applications are listed as closed.
For the latest rules or accessibility questions, use the official event announcement and purchase information or contact the Carolyn Owens Community Center at 909-334-3258. Confirm operating and weather changes with the organizer before traveling.
